Cowpens residents and the Cowpens Town Council have much to look forward to.
Mayor Mike Hamrick showed, and explained the preliminary drawings for the much anticipated Community Center. The exciting news about those plans, which were discussed at the monthly Town Council Meeting were that prospects for an early start on it are good.
Also displayed were drawings and plans for the new Farmer’s Market and the progress being made on that.
Another new exciting project on the planning board is the construction of a stage in the Cowpens Veterans Park area.
The Cowpens Veterans Park is a popular place for local groups and organizations to hold meetings and a popular spot for out-of-town guests and tourists to visit.
