Jed Blackwell, Hometown News The rosters for the FCA Spartanburg County vs. Greenville County All-Star games were announced last week.
The contests will pit a team of senior basketball all-stars from Spartanburg and Cherokee counties against their counterparts from Greenville.
The game will be held Saturday, March 13 at Byrnes High School.
The Spartanburg County girls roster includes:
Octavia Gory (Broome), Tiffanie Adair (Byrnes), Chanazla Petty (Boiling Springs), Katharine Anne Ashemore (Chapman), India Caldwell (Chesnee, Mikala Scott, Aisha Mitchell, and Talya Burnett (Dorman), Kierra Phillips (Gaffney), Elizabeth Edmondson and Rosaruth Parton (Landrum), Johnna Stripling (Spartanburg) Shonise Duncan and Jennifer Jones (Woodruff), and Anna Ike (Spartanburg Day School). Girls coaches are Bobby Foster and Janet Linder.
The boys roster includes Ryan Petrea (Boiling Springs), Thomas Weeks (Broome), Keandre Brown (Byrnes), Freddie Edwards (Chapman), Jalen Martin (Chesnee), Derrick Scott, T.J. Jones, and Avery Bomar (Dorman), Josh Corry and Corey Smith (Gaffney), Deshaun Hall (Landrum), Andre Whitmire, Brandon McCullough and Michael Harpe (Spartanburg) and Travis Black (Spartanburg Christian Academy). Coaches for the boys will be Chris Arp and Lee Dillard.
