The Blacksburg High School Drama Department presented, “Christmas in the Forest,” on Tuesday, Dec. 8 for the students at Blacksburg Primary School, Blacksburg Elementary School, and Blacksburg High School.
The holiday play depicts Goldilocks, played by Lauren Hensley, and Little Red Riding Hood, played by Ashley Fortner, celebrating Christmas with the forest animals.
The three Bears, played by Cody Knight, Erin Allison, and Mary Lauren Acrey, are skeptical of Goldilocks and her intentions, and at first, refuse to cooperate. Likewise, the wolves, played by Jonathan Harwick and Jaime Blanton, are skeptical of Little Red Riding Hood.
In the end, however, all the animals enjoy a party and presents from Goldilocks and Little Red Riding Hood.
