1 dead, 2 injured in Boiling Springs shooting

By PHIL BUCHHEIT

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a triple shooting that occurred inside a residence of Falcon Ridge sub-division in Boiling Springs that left a 19-year-old man dead and two others injured.
According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, several calls from the Falcon Ridge Neighborhood began coming in at approximately 9:20 p.m. last Thursday night in reference to the hearing of gunshots at 102 Falcon Ridge Road.
When officers responded to the scene they found a 19-year-old victim dead inside of the residence and two other surviving victims who had both been shot (one of who was inside the residence and the other who was on the front porch of the residence when officers arrived).
A fourth person who was at the residence at the time of the shooting was not injured.
The two surviving victims were transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for the treatment of their wounds.
Witnesses told investigators that they saw multiple suspects leave the residence after the shooting in a dark colored vehicle that looked like a SUV. The specific number of suspects as well as the make, model, or license plate of the getaway vehicle remains unknown.
