Chesnee Mayor Max Cash convened City Council in monthly session on February 14 with all council members present. City employee Joyce Dawkins was present in place of City Administrator Becki Hood who was absent due to family illness.
After council approved the agenda for the meeting and also minutes from the January 2011 meeting, Mayor Max Cash stated that since there had been little response to the public comments portion of the meetings that procedure had been changed. Mayor Cash stated that if anyone wished to speak at the council meetings they should make a request at City Hall no later than the Wednesday preceding the monthly meeting. Cash said the request will be reviewed and notification of approval or disapproval of the request would be provided.
