Chesnee Council approves Hospitality Funds requests |

Chesnee Mayor Max Cash convened city council in an announced special session on March 31 with all members present except Councilwoman Verhonda Crawford. Upon an approved motion the council approved the following requests for hospitality funds for various events.
-Councilman Bruce Mahaffey motioned to approve $800 dollars in support of the Paws for a Cause cancer awareness event to be held in October 2011. Motion was seconded and carried on a unanimous vote.
-Councilman Mahaffey motioned and was seconded to approve $11,000 dollars in support of the annual Antique Bikes on Main Rally in July. Motion was approved by unanimous vote.
