District One Schools announces the retirement of Mr. William “Ott” Sizemore, Principal of Holly Springs-Motlow Elementary School effective June 30, 2011. Mr. Sizemore has served as Principal of Holly Springs-Motlow Elementary for three years and has worked in District One for a total of eighteen years in several capacities.
Mr. Ott Sizemore began his educational career in District Five Schools, where he was a teacher, coach, and assistant principal. In 1993, Mr. Sizemore joined the District One Schools administrative team, where he became Principal of O.P. Earle Elementary School. He served in that role for seven years. Following his years at O.P. Earle Elementary School, Mr. Sizemore served as Coordinator of Personnel for eight years at the district level.
