In an effort to improve response time in the area, Spartanburg County Emergency Services has assigned an EMS unit to the station at the Holly Springs Fire and rescue Department.
In making the announcement Monday, Spartanburg County Councilman Dale Culbreth said the stationing of the rapid response unit would provide better response times and make the people of the Holly Springs area safer.
“We’ve needed this here,” Culbreth said. “This is going to be a life-saving deal.”
