For the first time this season, the Byrnes Rebels are riding a two-game win streak, positing impressive wins against T.L. Hanna and Mauldin.
Byrnes will try to push that streak to three games this week by hosting Riverside.
“Riverside is working hard and trying to get better,” Byrnes coach Chris Miller said. “Turnovers and bad breaks seem to be hurting them.”
The Warriors enter the contest with a 1-5 record. Riverside has faced several tough teams this season, including Easley and Dorman, but coach Steve Eoute said this will be his team’s toughest test.
“This is probably the best team we will play,” Eoute said. “They are loaded across the board. They have speed and depth, and are extremely well-coached.”
