Krista Gibson, Hometown News Spartanburg District 5 schools are just weeks away from debuting a new Fine Arts Center. The 1,020-seat facility will accommodate every arts program in the district as well as provide meeting space for large-scale staff events.
“We built it so our students and our community could have a comfortable place to go and see a good performance and a comfortable place to go to meetings,” said Barry Reese, manager of the FAC. “I’m confident that it’s going to meet almost everybody’s needs.”
Located on the Byrnes High campus, all schools in the district will have access and priority, but the facility will also be available to use for community events.
