Residents of the Middle Tyger area can now take advantage of healthcare services thanks to the partnership of the Middle Tyger Community Center and ReGenesis Health Care.
The new health clinic officially opened Dec. 1, but members of the community were invited to tour the facility during an open house this past Thursday.
Joy McGaha, director of health services for District Five schools, said the presence of ReGenesis at the community center meant that families in District Five would have additional options in terms of finding a medical home.
