Former Whitmire resident owns Newberry signs and graphics business

For the past six years Jim “Puff” Palmer, who lived in Whitmire from when he was in third grade until his teenage years, has run his own business in downtown Newberry, Palmer’s Signs and Graphics. Located at 1401 Main Street, his shop creates banners, signs, window graphics, and vehicle wraps. He also does screen printing, digital printing, and graphic design work.
Palmer does all the work himself, although his wife pitches in on occasion.
