Royal Regiment competes at 1-A Upper State Championship

On Saturday, October 23, 2010, Whitmire Community School’s Royal Regiment Band competed at the Upper State 1-A Championship event. The 1-A competition took place at James F. Brynes High School in Duncan. The high school bands that competed in the 1-A upper state championship were North Central, Great Falls , Lewisville , Ninety-Six, Landrum, Ware Shoals, and Whitmire Community. In this particular competition, only six out of seven bands would be chosen to move on to the State 1-A championship at Batesburg-Leesville which will take place on Saturday, October 30.
