Whitmire’s Halloween Carnival a treat for the community

Photo by Jeremy Bumgarner The 2010 Halloween Carnival “Best Dressed” contest winners are Robin King as the Batwoman, Matthew McMurtury as the Old Man with the Bucket, Noel King as Supergirl, Lil Jason Hood as Superman, and Zanhyn Ruth as the Wicked Witch of the West.
The Whitmire High School Athletic Booster Club hosted the Annual Halloween last Saturda from 7 - 10 p.m. at the RC Lake Gymnasium. It was an exciting evening for kids and the young at heart. Some of the games included were kids and adults bowling, throwing a football, shooting basketballs into a hoop, knocking over cans, and dunking the coaches in a dunking booth. Also, there were delicious snacks to eat.
