Q: Mayor Carroll, what will be your first goals as you begin next term in office?
“My first goal is to continue to work diligently to attract industry to Whitmire. With the economic times we are facing, this will be a difficult task. However, we will continue to work with the state and county governments to achieve this goal. Secondly, we will continue to improve our water system through updates and upgrades. We are now in the final stages of completion of two grants, totaling approximately a million dollars, towards this project.”
