There’s a small house on Evans Street that stands out among all the others.
It is the home of Eula Epps. Eula, 79 years young, lives alone and stays active.
She loves to garden and decorate her home. Mrs. Epps stated, “To be here by myself is not so happy, but I do the best I can, the best I know how because the Lord is with me everywhere I go.”
She still spends a lot of time in her yard tending to her plants, which includes a very large cactus, flowers, and collards. Farming was part of her life as a child.
