Gist, Ray, and Brewton teach basketball skills

Last Thursday afternoon, the gym at the District 4 Activity Center reverberated with the sounds of laughter and dribbling as former Woodruff High Basketball stars - many of whom are in the Woodruff High School Hall of Fame - helped 4th and 5th - grade girls with the fundamentals of the game.
The girl’s afterschool program at Woodruff Elementary was created to help 4th and 5th - grade girls learn the basics of basketball and develop their skills to help prepare them for playing the game in the middle school.
