District Four officials respond

Questions raised over the summer about the operation of the concession stand at W.L. Varner Stadium were answered in an exclusive October 6 interview with Spartanburg County District Four school officials.
Woodruff High School Principal Aaron Fulmer, Athletic Director Scott Lawson and Board Chairman Milton Smith sat down with this reporter at 9 a.m. on October 6 in the District Board Room to explain why the District changed how the stand is operated and to discuss the differences between the two setups.
“You won’t find a better concessions stand anywhere,” Smith said. “It’s just a matter of philosophy on how you run it.”
